Draft under legal review. Climacope Compliance is in pilot. These terms state how the pilot works today and will be finalized with counsel before general availability. No paid plan can be purchased yet; nothing here is a paid offer.
1. The service
Climacope Compliance helps companies respond to sustainability questionnaires (Supplier Module) and collect Scope 3 data from their suppliers (Buyer Module). The two modules are connected: when a buyer requests data, suppliers respond through this platform, and structured sustainability data flows back to the requesting buyer.
During the pilot the service is provided free of charge, as-is, and may change or be suspended at any time.
2. AI-generated content — your review obligation
- Answers, emails, and scores produced by the service are drafts. You must review them before submitting to any framework (EcoVadis, CDP, CSRD, a customer) or sending to any recipient. You are responsible for what you submit.
- The service is designed never to invent figures: where your data doesn't support an answer, the question is flagged as a gap instead. If you see an invented figure, report it — do not submit it.
- Predicted scores are unvalidated heuristics, not official framework rubrics, and must not be represented as an actual EcoVadis/CDP score or rating.
3. Buyer terms (supplier outreach)
- You warrant you have a lawful basis to contact the suppliers you upload (an existing business relationship or consent, per the laws that apply to you) and that contact details you provide were obtained lawfully.
- Emails are sent only when you explicitly trigger sending. Every message carries a working one-click unsubscribe and our postal address; suppressed addresses are never re-contacted.
- Data suppliers submit through the platform is provided to you for sustainability reporting and supplier engagement — not for unrelated commercial use.
- Emissions figures for non-responding suppliers are estimates (labeled with method and confidence). You must preserve that labeling anywhere you report them.
4. Supplier terms (responding to a buyer request)
- Completing a buyer request is optional and requires no paid account. What flows back to the buyer is structured, framework-relevant sustainability data — not your raw uploads or data vault.
- You warrant the data you submit is accurate to your knowledge; the buyer may rely on it in their own reporting.
5. Your data, our promises
How we handle data — including client-side spend preprocessing, redaction before LLM calls, and supplier-contact encryption — is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms, and — for organizational customers — the Data Processing Addendum. We do not sell your data. We do not permit our LLM providers to train on your content (see the Privacy Policy for the exact mechanism).
6. Acceptable use
No unlawful use; no submitting data you lack rights to; no attempting to access other tenants' data; no using the outreach system for anything other than sustainability data requests to your own suppliers.
7. Liability, termination, changes
The pilot service is provided without warranties, and liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law (final cap structure to be set with counsel before paid plans exist). You may stop using the service and request deletion of your data at any time. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.
